Behind The Lense

Planning and Preperation Stage
HeizenMedia will conduct a meeting to discuss the client’s objectives, target audience, and overall vision for the video. Good planning keeps everyone on the same page and lays the foundation for a smooth workflow later.

Pre-Production
HeizenMedia will monitor the weather forecast in order to aim for a day of optimal conditions that are calm and clear, as wind can affect performance and safety. Writing scripts and developing storyboards along with choosing the video style, tone, and visual approach enter this stage.

Logistics & Scheduling

Production Day
This is where HeizenMedia is most needed for in setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, then capturing scenes according to the shot list. We look to film multiple takes, gathers b roll and extra footage, and checks every detail for consistency and quality. No matter the format, this stage focuses on capturing every visual and audio element needed to shape the story later in editing.

Editing
HeizenMedia will assemble a rough cut based on the shot list and narrative flow. Thereafter we refine the edit, adding transitions, music, and sound effects. We look to incorporate other media, such as ground-level footage or motion graphics, if necessary.
We’ll look to fine-tune pacing, improve transitions, and ensure the final product aligns with the story’s original goals.

Delivery
We will share a draft with you for feedback. and stick to the agreed number of included revisions.
Once approved and fully paid, we deliver the final, high-resolution video file to the client.
